FAQs
What makes your photography different from other photographers?
I come from a photojournalism and art background which allows me to see your day as a storyteller and as an artist. I allow the day to unfold naturally without interference. Most of the photos taken are unscripted, while ensuring I cover more formal family & bridal party portraits and a session with you both as newlyweds. I aim to make everyone feel as relaxed as possible and am often complimented on my calming approach!
We wish we could meet with you, but we don’t live near you. Is there an alternative?
Many couples hire me without a face-to-face meeting. Communication can be thorough with emails and phone calls, However, my preference is to schedule at least one a video meeting. A lot of out-of-town clients have done this, and it works well! I recently Skyped with one couple who live in Tokyo. Others have been from Nice and Venice! How do we arrange your travel?
I can book my own airfare, hotel, and transportation, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Will you travel for engagement sessions as well?
I am happy to come to your location or meet you at a special destination of your choice. Please contact me for specific information.Do you photograph details and family group photos?
Yes! A wedding photography collection would not be complete without capturing details and family photos. The small details set the scene of your story. Most of my wedding coverage starts at the beginning of your day and finishes when you both leave the reception. My deepest desire to tell the story from beginning to end.My fiancé is uncomfortable having his picture taken. How can you help him on the wedding day?
Frankly, I find that most men do not like their photo taken! Truth be told I don't like my photo taken either. I tend to take a relaxed approach and Grooms usually tell me that I made them feel comfortable. When it comes to the rest of the day, I am able to blend into the background and capture more candid portraits. Most couples tell me that they rarely saw me but were impressed with all of the photos taken. The only time you’ll really be aware of my camera(s) is during the family & bridal party portraits and the creative portraits. You really can just be yourselves, and I will take care of the rest. What do you do if we have an outdoor venue and it rains on our wedding day?
I have photographed lots of weddings in the rain, but that's never stopped me from being creative! Most venues will offer you a rain plan with a backup indoor location. I can easily adapt to any situation. My favourite wedding photos have a lot more to do with your personalities and your chemistry as a couple, than what kind of background you’re standing in front of. If you are happy and in love, that will show in your photos. I see rain as a fun, adventurous twist that usually brings laughter and spontaneity! Some of my favourite images were taken in the rain or snow! However, if you don't feel comfortable being out in the rain, I am proficient in several different lighting techniques and can make almost any location work for your portraits. An alternative plan If the weather doesn't cooperate or it gets too dark, is to book in a portrait session after your wedding.
Should I give you a shot list?
When you contact me about shooting your wedding, I will send you a full gallery of a wedding to look through. You will see that I am very thorough with my coverage, including photos of your dress, jewelry, shoes, flowers, food, and reception décor. There is no need to give me a shot list. The only list I will ask for is your list of family and bridal group shots. How many photographers will be at my wedding?
Most weddings I photograph are in one location and usually only need one photographer. There are times when the couple requests another photographer. The second photographer is chosen from a shortlist of very talented people that I am used to working with. The second photographer is responsible for photographing the bride or groom getting ready, all details, and provides a second angle on the ceremony and reception, and assists the lead photographer with off-camera lighting for creative portraits.
When will we see our photographs?
Because we take such care in making sure all your print-ready edited photographs look great for years, completion usually takes about a week to ten days. If you like, I have an editing team that can have 'first choice' photos ready by the end of the evening, However, the online gallery will be made available for you and all your friends and family to see in a week to ten days. How do we hire you?
Use the tab below with questions about pricing, products, and availability. Once we have chatted about your wedding, I'll send you a password-protected site where you can sign your contract and pay the deposit. Everything can be done online and only takes about five minutes. Will we be able to print our pictures?
Yes! All of our couples receive their images via digital download (anywhere between 600-800 pictures on average). You get a personal print release with your images. These have stood the test for years to ensure your memories will live on for generations. I also archive a set.
We are having a destination wedding. Do you travel?
Yes! I love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel throughout Europe and America to shoot weddings. Please send me information on your travel plans and I will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Will we get featured in a magazine or a blog?
Although my sessions have been featured in publications, this is not something that is guaranteed or pursued much on my end. I prefer to focus on the front end of the process; getting to know the couple, studying, and visiting the location before the wedding. If you like, I can introduce you to those who can help you to get the word out.
Will our photos be displayed on social media sites?
Most of my clients are private and rarely want the images to be released. I would only use the photos with permission.
Do you have albums available?
Yes, there are a variety of albums to choose from. All prints and photo products are professional grade and of Heirloom quality made to last a lifetime. Crafted by artisans from archival-quality materials, and handmade in the finest fashion, I offer nothing but the very best in album selection.
Do you have business insurance?
Yes, I am licensed as a business with full business insurance coverage.
Do you photograph elopements?
Yes, we do! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements.
Do you photograph engagement or pre-wedding photos?
Gladly. I can meet you at your favorite places that you love or sentimental locations. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another and for you to discover how relaxed and fun my style is. If you are interested, I have a portfolio of prewedding/engagement photos.
How long have you be photographing weddings?
I have been photographing weddings for over 20 years now and continue to find them fascinating and one of my favorite events to photograph. I have covered over 300 weddings, from California to Rome!
Do you offer videography?
Yes, I have worked with some of the best videographers in London and France. We offer 3 types of coverage.
Have I missed anything?
If so, do contact me to discuss any questions that you may have.

About Greg
Actual Role: Photographer
Alter Ego: Wing Walking Professional
Personality: A curious and reserved user-friendly photographer.
History in the making: It all started with my passion to become a 007 agent when I was 10. My James Bond attaché case had all the gadgets and even a hidden camera. I somehow got side-tracked through the years and found myself finishing a university degree with no ambition or direction. During those months the university's publicity department lost both of their photogs and they pleaded with anyone with a camera to help. As fate would have it, I was the only hobbyist available (They were desperate). The brief stated that I would have full access to the campus with unlimited film. This was my entry point into a whirlwind of amazing photographic opportunities.
From a publicity photographer to a full-time art photographer (see links below), I began winning awards for my trademark style in art, entertainment, and lifestyle and traveled throughout America, Europe, and the UAE. I am grateful that the university took a chance on this hobbyist which gave way to front-row experiences with some of the most interesting people in the world. Even though my dream of working for MI6 has been delayed, I have, however, been trained by the Jame Bond Film Stills photographer Nicola Dove. I am honoured to have photographed the weddings of talented and award winning film producers.

Secret Talent: Speed UNO Master.
Partners in Crime: My beautiful wife and 4 boys.
